Outlook express incoming messages with attachments

When we did the two hour critical update for Windows XP,
we can no long open any file attachments received in
emails. There is a clipboard message that says, "OE
removed access to the following unsafe attachments in
your mail". How can we remove this message and open up
attachments?

This only happened when we downloaded the critical update.

Greetings Jackie,

This is just a new security feature in Outlook Express that you can easily turn off. To do
so, click the Tools menu in Outlook Express, then Options, then the Security tab, uncheck 'Do
not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus' and then click
OK.
