Outlook Express - Change Clock

S

Shar

The time is wrong when I send out e-mails. I looked in
the "HELP" index & couldn't find info on changing the
time setting. The clock on my Windows XP is correct.
Can anyone give me some help on changing me Outlook
Express clock. Thanks. Shar

OE, like all applications, tkaes the time from the system clock. When is the
time wrong? For you or for the person receiving? OE doesn't have a clock of
its own.

Shar,

Wouldn't worry about the time on emails. Not really
important. Mail is qeued on the servers and isn't always
sent out at the instant it is sent. Now granted email is
usually fast but it is by no means an instant technology.
If it was there would not be instant messengers:)
