Outlook 2003 - Unable to attach files to Email

L

lrtemple

When I attempt to attach a file to a new email I created, it gives me a
runtime error and closes outlook, sends a report to Microsoft, then reopens
Outlook. I can receive and view emails with attachments. This just started
in the last couple of weeks. I haven't had this problem before. I've not
changed anything to my knowledge.

What is the exact error message? How are you trying to attach the file?
What type of file is it? Does it happen for all file types that you try to
attach?

Have you tried using Detect and Repair from Outlook's Help menu?
