Outlook 2003 can't open calendar item.

I am having problem.

I can't open any items on my calendar in 2003. I have reset the preview and
i have cleared the form cache. If i click on an item it highlights blue,
but it doesn't open. I can't create a new calendar item either. I don't get
pop up reminders when they are supposed to fire. It's like the lauch
function is broke.

I tried rebooting but it didn't fix it.
I have checked for multiple OUTLOOK.exe in the process tab of task manager.

All other buttons work fine. on the mail link i have no problem view or
creating mail.

Exchange account of PST? If the latter, did you try the Inbox Repair Tool?
Did you try Help>Detect and Repair?

Exchange.

I used detect and repair. I had to discard custom settings and restore
defaults.

I had to do this yesterday also.

I am hoping it doensn't happen tomorrow. It is a pain.

Actually I have similar problem, when ever I try to create a new Calender
the system tells me "The form requiredto view this message cannot be
displayed. Contact your administrator", however, I can open existing calender
and change it.

It is working on different PC talking in consideration that noth PC are
connect to Exchange but not joined to the domain.

Clear the forms cache. Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>Custom
Forms>Manage Forms>Clear Cache.

Actually I try it howerver it didn't work, i created a new calendar
forlder under the main
calender it is working but under the main calender it is not. the thing is
that I can edit
any existing calendar

Well, if this were happening to me, I'd 1) use the Inbox Repair Tool
(scanpst) if this is for a POP account, 2) create a new mail profile, or 3)
create a new PST, if this is for a POP account, and make it the delivery
location, moving all the data in the old PST to the new PST.

Does the behavior change if you disable Cached Exchange mode?
