Outlook 2003 Bug - Cannot print to large format printers

J

Jon Murphy

Outlook will not recognize paper sizes over 32". It would
be very useful to use my drafting plotter to print ANSI D
(22"x34") size calendars. This seems odd because I'm sure
I'm not the first one to think of doing this. Outlook will
print ANSI C (17"x22") size fine. Unfortunately, I can't
seem to find a way to contact Microsoft to report this
limitation without them charging me $35. No wonder so many
people are switching to Linux...

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your post and you are correct, their is a limitation within
Microsoft Outlook if you try and print anything that has a print area of
more then 32 inches . This is documented in the following article FYI.

278130 OL2002: Cannot Print Large Paper Sizes Even When Printer Allows
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=278130

While this is only marked for Outlook 2002, it still applies for Outlook
2003.
