Outlook 2000 and Sprint PCS

I am trying to set up access to my bosses schedule through
our network connection. I keep hitting a roadblock-I can
notget Outlook to connect via the office network
connection, I am very new at this, can anyone help??
I am not even sure what questions to ask.
I know I need an IMAP address but from who?
