OT - Registry Cleaner?

L

Louise

Although this is slightly OT, I have found the people in this group very
knowledgeable as I work my way through my first custom built machine
instead of the Dells and Gateways of the past.

From other postings, I've gotten the distinct impression that JV16 is
considered one of the best registry cleaners around.

I've been using it with some nervousness as I see so many entries that I
could/should remove.

I'm wondering how people use this utility. Do you just remove a very
few things? Do you let it remove everything the program says can be
removed?

TIA

Louise

I've used the software for years and never a problem.
It backs up what it takes out so you have no worries.See the help
files for info on the backups :)

I use Easy Cleaner from lavasoft.com . It can clean lots of things
besides the registry and it's *free*. I just run it and blindly select
"Delete All" after a scan. I've been doing this for several year. Easy
Cleaner has an "undo" capability.
