Hitachi has had one out for a while CML174SXWB that has the same response
time. I have one on the way from newegg, so maybe on Saturday I can tell
you if it is for real!

Do you happen to know if that's at 24 bit color? I saw an article on a tech
TV show that stated some LCD manufacturers were cheating and internally the
LCD's would only display 16 bit color when achieving 16ms access time.

I don't know if it's accurate or not, but I think I would notice the
difference. I have this 16ms 17" on my wife's computer and the color,
brightness, and crispness is nothing short of stunning...

The display quality is so good, that it must be 24/32 bit color.

Well, got the Hitachi 17" and it rocks! No tearing or ghosting. Not bad at
all.
