I just got a new laptop and want to bring over my contact
infor from my old laptop (outlook.ost). Any idea how I

You need to create a *.PST file. and all you have to do is to export it
from your old laptop and copy it to a disk or transfer it over a network to
your computer. Then you want to import it into your new laptop and direct
it to your ne contact folder.

The only option I had was to save the outlook.ost file.
There was no .pst file to be saved. How do I point my
outlook to this file?

Are you still connected to the Exchange server from which this .ost file was
created?
