"OS X" clients are not getting DNS settings from Win2K DHCP

I have about 6,500 PC's and 600 Mac's using my Windows 2000 DHCP
infrastructure. The PC's all work great! The Mac's get an IP, SN Mask, and
Default GW, but they do not get the DNS servers or the domain name. I'm
just curious if this is something with my configuration, or if it is just
normal with Mac's to behave this way.

Thanks!

I've always had the same problem - and not just with OSX, either. I've just
given up and begun assigning DNS addresses to Macs manually (leaving them on
DHCP, tho). You might try m.p.win2000.macintosh .. I don't sub to that group
but it may be of some use here.
