Opening PPT XP file in PPT 2000

M

Maude W.

I received a PowerPoint XP file as an attechment to an
email message. When I try to open it in PowerPoint 2000,
which is the version I have, I receive the following error
message:

"PowerPoint can't open the type of file represented by
C:\Documents and Settings\..."

Anyone figured out a way tp open an PowerPoint XP file
w/PowerPoint 2000? The PowerPoint viewer on the MS
website does not help.

Thx.

If the person who created the XP presentation password protected the presentation, you will not be able to open it in 97/2000
