Opening Form Property in New Window

I'm in design view of a form and thought in order to bring up, say, the
value of the Record Source
in a window to view and edit it easier your press SHIFT/F2. I can't invoke
that window for
some reason when I press these keys.
I just got a new keyboard (not sure if that's it) and installed the proper
software.
Am I pressing the correct keys?

Thanks,
James

I'm not sure what you are asking. Shift+F2 never worked in a property sheet.
It still does work in form or datasheet view. Some keyboards (my Office
keyboard is one) have an F-Lock which must be pressed to get the Function
Keys to work as the originally did. This is the default for these keyboards.

Actually it's referred to as Zoom. I have a Select statement in the
recordsource
and wanted to view the entire thing.
That was the problem the F-Lock.

Thanks much,
James
