Only first letter

I keep getting the font names displayed with only the
first letter when I am trying to edit the appearance of a
form,and also, sometimes when I save a data base, again
only the first letter is diplayed. Even if I rename the
data base, when I then try to export to it, and My
Documents opens, it wont recognise the data base with all
the letters and insists it cannot find the data base name
i.mdb or what ever other letter is the first one. Any
ideas !!!!

Any chance that your OS is Windows XP and there is a compatibility setting
assigned to Access? If so, remove it. I had a similar problem when playing
with the compatibility settings.
