Seriously, don't use OneCare. At least not until it has been out for
awhile. If MS can't make their software work correctly with their own
OS, then you don't want it handling your AV and Firewall needs.

Get Grisoft's AVG Antivirus (free.grisoft.com) for free, and use
Sygate's Personal Firewall for your firewall. It's good and it's free.

As of 11/30 Symantec has discontinued the Pro and free versions of
Sygate. They killed it, which is no surprise.

It's a beta product and not covered in this newsgroup. Here is one

When you open OneCare are there any actions you need to perform?
Have you checked all the settings?
Perhaps the machine was infected when you installed OneCare.
Scan your system for viral and non-viral malware. Start here-
Virus Removal Instructions: http://home.neo.rr.com/manna4u/
Download all tools and update them before disconnecting from the net
and booting into safe-mode to run the scanners.
You should report your problem to the MS beta newsgroups. I have been
using OneCare for a while and have had not much to report because it
has been running fine(no infections or issues) so far.
