old scsi to newer scsi

I have a 25-pin scsi flatbed scanner that came with it's own card/cable.
I've recently aquired a PC with external ultra/wide 68-pin.

Can anyone point me to a cable/adapter that will connect the two?
Many thanks
AL

I'm not certain if there is a single cable. You might need a two-piece
setup. A 68-pin to 50-pin converter, then a 50-pin to DB-25 cable. That is
the setup I used to use when I had a SCSI scanner.

You can go to www.adaptec.com and then to their products section. Prices
are a bit high, though. Unless you REALLY want SCSI, it's probably cheaper
to buy a new scanner that uses USB.

My conclusion also. :-(
(I should have added that the 25pin is a "D" type)
