OL2000:Contacts from .pst Backup Utility not in Contacts

This is rather strange. I had to do a new install of
OL2000 and depended upon my trusty OL Backup utility to
restore everything. When I opened the .pst, I had two
sets of Contacts (as well as 2 Inbox, 2 Tasks, etc.). I
MOVED the contacts together, first as a Contacts subfolder
to Contacts, later as a second Contacts 1. While I have
the contact info intact, they are not available to access
when sending a message (not in the TO list).

Is there a way to merge the two Contact files together?

Thanks,

Clark

So which is it that you want to do? Merge the 2 folders together or just
make them both available in the Outlook Address Book? You can do either.
You can easily move the contents of one Contacts Folder into another with
the "Move to Folder" command.

Thanks for quick response, Russ.

What 'Move to Folder' command? If it's right-click and
select move, that is what
has created my problem.

My needs: combine what is now Contacts and the subfolder
Contacts1 into a single
folder. Right now, I can't access any of the email
addresses in Contacts1 folders
when sending an email, nor does my Pocket PC, after
syncing, recognize the contacts
in Contacts1.

Here is what the folder structure looks like on my OL

Contacts
|___Contacts 1

Thanks for your help.
