OL 2003 HTML sent, plain text received

I create a message in HTML format. It appears in the sent
folder in HTML format.
If I send it to a recipient specified by an address in
the Contacts (which were imported from Outlook Express 6)
the recipient receives plain text.
If I type in the address ht recipient receives HTML.
Any body know why?

Try this: Open that person's contact record and double-click the e-mail
address. A dialog box should open -- does it show that you have asked
Outlook to always send to this user in Plain Text? If so, change it to "Let
Outlook decide the best sending format".
