NTL upgrading there Broadband users for free.

I dont know if anyone know yet, but NTL have this "upgrade broadband" speed option on there website www.ntlworld.com , if your on the 300k speed, you can upgrade to 1mb, if your on 1mb you can upgrade to 1.5mb and if your on 1.5mb you can upgrade to 3mb!

Sounds crazy and unbelievable, but 2 of my friends have done it, i havent done it yet as i dont know my NTL username and password, im going to ring them up tomorrow .

Now im on 1mb for £18 a month!

I used to d/l at around 33kbps now its at a steady 125kbps! Thats 4 times bloody faster for free!

The speed increases are a free upgrade, with all existing users being upgraded as of 14th March 2005.

Pay attention to that 3GB. If you go over, they will ask you to upgrade to 2 or 3Mps.

yeah man, i seen that 3gig limit .

But to be honest i dont really download much anyway. Its mainly used for online gaming .

I aint too sure what ya mean there :/

A) Online gaming doesnt add anything to your 3gig limit if you meant that.

B) 300k was OK for online gaming, but not as good as others.

C) ?!?!?
