Hi im new here but not to pcs but i have a problem i have a asusa7n8x-e deluxe mobo which i have jus got.
all my other hardware is tested and working fine.
the mobohas a jumper for enabling the sata, when this is disabled all is fine it would work fine and install xp on an ide drive but when i enable it the pc powers up and fans drives all come to life but nothing happens on the monitor it just carries on flashing amber in standby.
Any help would be grate as im pulling my hair out.
