Norton AntiVirus VS ZoneAlarm With AntiVirus

I reformatted my laptop 2 days ago because it was running slow. I
decided yesterday to purchase ZoneAlarm with AntiVirus. About 30
minutes ago I finally got around to installing Norton Systemworks
Premier 2005. After I rebooted ZoneAlarm it tells me there is a
conflict and it wants me to uninstall Norton AntiVirus.

The idea was to have both NAV and ZA with AV so if one did not catch a
virus/worm the other would catch it.

I have already run Norton Liveupdate and it is doing a full system scan
(Antivirus) now. When I check for updates with ZoneAlarm with
Antivirus it tells me I am up to date.

Anyone know if ZoneAlarm with AntiVirus has all the same features as
NAV 2005?

If I cannot use both (I still don't understand why ZA with AV won't
start as long as NAV is installed) I am trying to figure out which is
better for my PC.

I have:

Windows XP Home with SP2
2 GHz Celeron laptop with 1 gigabyte RAM
ZoneAlarm with AntiVirus Version: 5.5.094.000
(Zonealarm) Antivirus Vet Engine version: 11.7.0.000
(ZoneAlarm) Antivirus signature DAT file version: 11.7.9145.000

Norton Systemworks 2005
Version 8.02 Build 6
Norton Antivirus Version 11.0.9.16
Norton Utilities Version 18.0.0.62

Any Help is Appreciated!

There should be no problem having two anti-virus programs installed.
You can do full system scans with both (one at a time), but you should
have only one set to auto-protect as there will be conflicts if you
run two auto-protects simultaneously.

I had the same problem so switched to AVG and Sygate, AVG for Anti
Virus and Sygate for Firewall.
Found that other programs ofton give you conflicts,
sometimes I feel we are being conned,
Since running the above on WinME, have had no worries.
Hope this helps as well.
