ping works OK
no web access

still no web access-no email access

How do you connect to the net, is it using a wired broadband router?

When you say ping works ok, can you ping a remote server and get a valid response? i.e. "ping pcreview.co.uk"?

Normally if you don't have a light on your network connection then there's a deeper problem. Can you explain a little bit more about your network setup please?

If there is no light, that can mean that your router, ethernet card, cables, and or internet isnt working.


if you are saying ping works alright, yet your network light isnt on, then you arent doing it correctly. Try resetting your router
