Is there anyway the Nintendo DS can play mp3 and homebrew games without using a r4ds card?

Seen you can do alot more with this card than the DS

Not without an R4D Card you cant.
And depending on the size (GB) of the card what you can put on it.

    A friend has a 4GB R4D card & has 64 games on it!!!

My friend has spaceinvaders from the 1970's on the card.
And homebrew software as well, but dont know in the R4D card works with the new DSi?
