News Groups disappear

I added the news groups button to to the go dropdown menu by draging the news group button from the customize section of the add remove buttons box in outlook 2003. It worked just fine, I setup the news groups I needed and posted some thing I needed help on. The next time I opened outlook 2003 so I could check on a reply to my post the news groups button was gone. I is also gone from the add remove box. So I can't just drag it back cause it's not there. Thanks for your help

Do a hard reset on the Toolbar by renaming outcmd.dat to outcmd.old.
For other options to start the OE newsreader see;

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.
You may need to reset the menu or toolbar using Tools, customize.
