I've put the vacuum, hose pipe and bag of frozen peas away and have been taking a looksee at replacing them with the latest version of the Vapochill cooling systems (Options include one with the case and one where you fit the necessary kit to an existing case). As far as i can see, for an initial outlay of around £450 (including case), I could be running an Athlon £100 CPU at a clock speed of a 'Barton' costing almost £500. One cheap CPU upgrade in say, 12 months time and i would be way ahead of the game in terms of outlay for the chips themselves. The vapochill installation seems relatively straightforward (assuming the messy bit to protect against condensation is done properly)...and, as far as i can tell, the system isn't noisy. My alternative is to go for the new case, and CPU (for which i would need a new mobo...etc).

Anyone already got a vapochill system, or know anyone who's got one?

Which way should I go?
