Thinking of replacing my 6yr old viewsonic 19" monitor?
Looking at 24" widescreen possibly?
But which make to go for?
Any thoughts???

Make?

one that is 24" and not just named that but isn't actually 24"
min 1920x1080 2ms ultra high dynamic contrast
GtG (new-ish buzz word to make it sound better) VGA / HDMI / DVI-D
HDCP support
Complete with ALL cables for above
Black tape, to cover the ridiculously bright LED off/on light.
A bit of red somewhere on the frame, helps denote it's meant for gamers and therefore more expensive

added value;
Touch-screen for Win10+
Voice activated for Win10++
ECO friendly, will go puff after 11months 3weeks 6days.

Don't buy one with speakers

Any thoughts???
I'm pretty fond of BenQ. My old one lasted for many years and gave good service. This is similar to mine
and hubby has this one.

Picture quality on both monitors is excellent, which is probably the most important thing. Both have speakers, but we don't actually use them, just because we prefer to use our separate speaker set-up.

I use my monitor for gaming, and we also stream films and video. I can truthfully say that if I needed to replace either one, it would be with another BenQ. :thumb:

Yes I got a BenQ HDMI 24" Senseye Screen brilliant screen, I would recommend them. I bought mine from our local Maplins shop as they were cheaper than any of the on line stores.

Just had a look at TC's link mine is the same as her hubbies only in black, if I remember right it was just under £100 might be good idea to look at their on line shop and see if they have a store near you.

Went to buy a new Monitor at Maplins using Click & Collect.
Got to the shop after getting email saying in stock & found out of stock!:mad:
Waiting stock from Maplins or might go buy from Novatech & collect directly?

Not a big issue as have a spare 19" BenQ.
The Viewsonic 19" is about 7 yrs old & from Mesh!!!:eek:
Yes no joke!!:rolleyes:

I have decided for the time being to stick with a 19" monitor & have a spare BenQ 19" in reserve.
Do have a purchase in mind that is not a monitor.............so might post on that on Sunday!!
Will just let you guess for the time being & with me it could be anything!!!:eek:
