NEVER download a Beta version

As most of these messages show - you should never
download and use an unsupported beta version.

MSFT is using you to field-test its software, and won't
help you if it doesn't work or ruins your computer.

Wait for the final version, when it is supported.

Bill;
Not a very good statement as written.
Beta by definition is in testing.

People that run Beta software are testing for at least two reasons:
Suitability for themselves.
Assisting the manufacturer to find and correct problems.

Those unwilling or unable to format and/or risk the data on a computer
should not install Beta software of any kind, Microsoft or others.

Beta of any kind should not be installed on a production computer.

There are many good reasons to install Beta so stating "you should never
download and use an unsupported beta version"
Never is a very long time and encompasses all circumstances and thus is
incorrect for many.

Beta can be very good as long as you understand the risks.

I agree in part. You should never install a beta if you
are inexperienced with computers and never on a machine
you can't afford to have go down. Testing beta software
has risks but without testing it would be impossible to
find the bugs before going to final production. Would you
prefer they sell it and then fix the bugs after? If you
are not willing to help that's fine but don't try to
hamper the process and if you are so opposed why are you
even at the beta newsgroup?
