Networking issue with Win 95 to Win 2000

I have a 3 pc network at home. One pc has Win 98, the
other Win 95 and I have recently installed Win 2000 on the
third. All pcs have all files shared and can access files
with each other, the exception being my Win 95 to Win
2000. When attempting to connect with Win 2000 from my 95
it is requesting a "Network password to make this
connection."
There are no passwords or user restrictions setup on 2000
or 95, nor did this request appear when connecting with 98
to 2000. I am at a loss to understand why this is
happening or how to correct this issue. My 95 is used as,
and has all my back-up information stored. Any help would
be greatly appreciated

Is the account used to log into the Win 95 computer different than the
account used to log into the Win 98 computer?
Is the account used to log into the Win 98 computer the same as the account
used to log into the Win 2000 computer?

If the answer is yes to both of the above questions, either use the same
account to log on to the Win 95 computer that you use to log on to the Win
98 & 2000 computers.
Or
Set up a user on the Win 2k computer using the same username and password
used to log onto the Win 95 computer. Grant this user permission to the
shared folder.
