NETDIAG-Kerberos Test-Failed

J

Jim Hall

Greetings,

I am adding a Windows2003 member server to my Windows
2000 AD domain to use with Exchange 2003. When running
the netdiag command as requested by the setup tools for
Exchange 2003 on the Windows 2003 member server I get the
following error:

Kerberos test. . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
[FATAL] Kerberos does not have a ticket for host/DC2.B.COM

Any ideas as to what might cause this? Everything seems
to be working as it should and I cannot explain this
error.

Thanks,
Jim Hall

There were reports that netdiag wrongly reported this. You can try and use
klist of kerbtray from resource kit, to list your kerberos tickets and see
if they are ok. You can also try and remove the server from domain and
rejoin it or reset a secure chanell.
