I have choosen Hide (Drill Down Ok ) For the groups, The details are
being displayed when clicked on a group header but how to display

line in the details.I just need to display the column name on the top
of details section.Early Repliey is greatly appreciated. Thanks in

you will have to put them in the header of the details section (unless you
want them displayed for every record)

Hi EricJ!

Thank You for your reply, I need a column heading for details. I have
placed them, but I supress the details.( I am using Hide, Drill Down
Ok For the Details Section). When I am expanding or viewing details
the results are dividing in a seperate pane and the column names are
left out in the previous pane or tab. I donot want them to be
displayed for every record.Think you got my problem now.Is there any
solution or alternative for the above.

Regards,
Meena.

w crystal it is inportant to group correctly, and to play w the keep
together ... settings.

ill try to give an example

page H
rap H
TopLevel H
here you put your titles of the fields (if you want to repeat them
every ocurrence of TopL)
subL H
When you want to keep your titles and the fields together you have
to play w the keep together of all the levels involved. if needed you can
conditionally start new page after a section (let us say when a group has 35
records you want a new page after ...)
here you put your titles of the fields (if you want to repeat them
every ocurrence of subL)
Details
field 1, 2 ...
subL F
TopLevelF
rapF
page F

(not much people know a lot about crystal im afraid, if you have to work w
it a lot i suggest getting a good book like this one
www.crystalreportsbook.com)

hope it helped a bit (wish i could tell you more, but since reports are by
nature very individual its hard)
