NAV 2003 Quarantine & Backup Deletions?

Leonard M. Wapner

Greetings:

I've got lots of files (infected) in these folders. Can I just delete the
files and empty the folders? Is there any reason to keep the files?

Thanks -

yes, there is a reason to keep the files...

the reason the files aren't deleted outright is to provide you with an
'undo' facility in case quarantining files breaks software on your
system... especially in the case of a false alarm...

if everything is operating, however, it should be safe to delete the
files from quarantine...
