My new Win2003 server install just keeps rebooting!

I installed Win2003 for the first time as a test on a Compaq Vectra VL
desktop computer. I used all the defaults during the installation. Win2003
won't even boot up!!! It "acts" like it is going to, then it just
"blue-screens" and keeps rebooting!!?

What is my next step to get Win2003 on this computer?

Thanks!!

Hello,

I am afraid that after reviewing the Hewlett-Packard site, I found that
none of the Vectra VL series models that I reviewed supported the install
of Windows Server 2003. Windows 2003 is a server product and is not
intended for a desktop type computer system. If you attempt to install
Windows 2003 on server hardware that is certified for a Windows 2003
install do you experience the same issue? Or if you install Windows 2000
Server on the system and run the check upgrade process from Windows 2003
CD-ROM does it find anything on the system that it is incompatible with?

I hope that these suggestions/ideas help you trouble shoot your issue.
