Fine in my book.

I question your choice of HD ... "refurbished" ... I do know a refurbished HD has to pass rigorous test but, your data is going on there.

Anyway, the MB will/is SATA II, which is to say up to 3Gbit transfer rate, so, get a SATA II HD.

sounds good :) ...

but i noticed the 'refurbished' aswell ... if your spending all that money on a beast of a system ... why not get all new parts that wont have any problems!

that PSU looks awseome!

good luck .. .and the cpu and mobo ;) good choices :p

you could always get the 3800 overclock it 200Mhz and save even more

being serious though the extra cache on the 4400 and 4800 is supposed to be the same as a increasing the speed 200Mhz but IMO i doubt you would even noice the difference

edit**
actually i am not going to try to overclock it b/c i did some research and it seems to complicated for me and a bit too risky for this much of money

Your selection for HD says "Serial ATA-150"
What you look for is "Serial ATA-300" ... ;)

Nice spec, but 'd go for logitech RF wireless mouse (MX1000) and not MS bluetooth jobby.
Also, never go for 'refrurb' whatever hardware it is or how much you think you're saving, specially HDDs.
4400 chip may be a lot more expensive than a 4000 with little/no obvious performance boost.
I reckon SLi is soon gonna be defunct...I'd save a little on mobo and just go for PCI-E non-SLi...watch graphics cards trends...dual and multiple core vids are the way of the future, so Sli will become redundant very soon.

Only my opinion (and I' a little drunk) but I think my advice is quite sound. (Ok, Ok, so it's not, just ignore me then)
