Rock On - David Essex

I used to listen to it as a teenager in 1973, what a song!:thumb:

I actually bought the album just few days back, a bout of nostalgia I suppose :p

Its a haunting song with very unusual guitar playing, wonder how many of you out there remember it ;)

Hey kid, rock and roll
Rock on, ooh my soul
Hey kid, boogey too, did ya

Hey shout, summertime blues
Jump up and down in my blue suede shoes
Hey kid, rock and roll, rock on

And where do we go from here
Which is the way that's clear

Still looking for that blue jean, Baby queen
Prettiest girl I've ever seen
See her shake on the movie screen, Jimmy Dean

Weird! What made you say that? "Fur Elise" is a beautiful piece of music and it is one of those Beethoven compositions that puts ones mind at ease.

At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Elbow, and Belafonte. No, not HARRY Belafonte :p

Plus, trying to cut down my Radiohead listening time, so seeing them on May 13th might be a bit more special ;)

Not really sure of the canadian rockers ??

Top of my head ...

Rush, Rem, Radiohead, Sex Pistols, The Adventures, Guns and Roses , a bit of Budgie, Iron Maiden , Sabbath..

Now ...Arctic Monkeys , Hard-Fi , i think thats diverse enough ..have probably left loads out.. yrh Garbage, and my second favourite music

Gregg Alexander ( aka New Radicals)

Maybe youve been brainwashed too ..is an absolute stonking CD :thumb:
and he has wrote loads of material for todays bands .. the list could go on and on and on
