I've just reformatted and reinstalled Win2K Pro to a Dell for one my user's.
The main network OS is Novell 5. After creating the user in Win2K everything
seems normal. Now after a few days, under C:\Documents and Settings there is
an entry for User listed and another for User.000. My user seems to be
logging on using this entry. Can someone enlighten me??

Someone likely either logged in with a user account that had the same name
but from a different domain. In Microsoft Knowledge Base article 269378
(http://support.microsoft.com/?id=269378) talks about naming profile
directories.

The original user profile is probably corrupt.
