Multiple account folders- but which is which?

I had to reload XP a number of times, each time, XP made copies of user
folders under "Documents & Settings". How do I know which of these folders
are for the current installation of XP and which are for the previous
installs.

Eg. I have:

* Julian
* Julian.JDMils
* Julian_Old
* JULIAN~1~JDM

The last one just has one folder in it, LOCALS~1 and another beneath that,
Temp. This last entry keeps appearing each time I delete it.

Just to add a few more folders, I've got:

* All Users
* All Users.Windows
* LocalService.NT AUTHORITY

plus a few of the same as these. Pls let me know which I can safely remove.
