Msn Messanger and Hotmail Link

I am unable to access MSN Messanger too for the last 2
days. I have a feeling that MSN itself has problems and
not my computer or me! Anyway, I couldn't even get to my
hotmail email anymore. However, my hubby could get into
his but still encounter the MSN messanger problem. Same as
Jenny and Lucille had. I did what Jenny did too, but it
still did not work. I have sent a message to hotmail via
my hubby's account, try to into microsoft.com, msn
messanger support, it is kaput.

If anyone have found a solution please let me know at

I had the same problem, I could not log into MSN
messenger, or hotmail. After hours of searching on
different message boards, I found one that worked.

All I had to do was....
-Go to the start menu
-Select 'run...' and type in "RegSvr32 Softpub.dll"
exatly like that (minus the quotation marks of course).
You should get a message that say something about it
working.
-hen try to log in, and it should be good again =)

It worked for me so giver a shot. Now on to try and fix
my problem with the 0x8100301 error.
