MSMQ WM 5.0 Message Size Limit

Hi,

I have intalled the MSMQ.ARM.CAB on my DELL Axim x51v. and managed to start
the MSMQ programmatically - The visadm.exe does not function properly.
Apparently there is a size limit on outgoing messages to a remote queue.
instead of the limit being 4MB it is about 262KB. I've changed the relevant
registry keys but that didn't help. If the message was over the limit I
described I would get an Exception saying "Not enough resource to perform the
operation" when I check the memory status the is more than enough.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem??

Have you restarted MSMQ/Device? Also, if you really need messages of 4 MB,
you might need to reconsider your implementation.

Since I got no response - for a while now, I will rephrase the question.

Doen anyone know for a fact that there is no problem with the size of
outgoing messages on MSMQ for WM 5.0 (ARM) transporting through ActiveSync
4.0. ?

The default size limit should be 4MB.
Any response with any information is greatly appreciated

What registry setting were you changing?

The registry key you should be setting should be DefaultQuota in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\SimpleClient
