MS Windows XP port blocking

Paul

Does Windows XP have an internal (perhaps built-in)
port blocking capabilities (a so-called Firewall)?

If there is one, then how do i disable it ?

.
Go to Help. Search for "Firewall" There are a number
of options to walk you through enabling and/or disabling
firewalls in your network.

Network connections folder, look at the connections icon. if the icon has a
padlock on it, it is firewalled. If it does not than it is not enabled.

Paul.
