Outlook MS Outlook 3002 lost emails

It must be me but I loose emails. They just disapear. I click out of inbox to see junk email and on return the emails that were there have gone. where are they? The only way I can find any is if I remeber who they are from and seacrh for them or go to the Mcafee spam folder and they are in the acepted file. Whats my problem? Is it me or am I just a blonde? Thanks for reading.

Sorry I thought I better add that i am running XP home eddition and its Outlook 2003.

Ok are you on a Microsoft Exchange Server? If not:


1. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
2. In the View Summary dialog box, click Filter.
3. In the Filter dialog box, click Clear All, and then click OK twice.
All e-mail messages, both read and unread, are now visible.

All I need to do now is sort out how I view my e,ail attachments with out going in to picasa. but thats another night and another thread.
