MRxSMB Event ID 50,{Delayed Write Failed}

MousePad

Hi, all
I am getting this MRxSMB error every time I have a large file copy to
server, and network will pause, all connection drops.

Here is what I have tried which doesn't work.
1. Q321733 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=321733
enablesecuritysignature already at 0
2. Q330174 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330174 Its network
drives, not local HardDrive.
3. Did a windows Update, which has some service packs and rollup
packs, did not fix problem.
4. Its not server, other Win2000 and NT clients are working fine
copy the same files or even bigger files.
5. Its not network card, under windows 2000 it works fine, after
the error message in XP, format WinXP, reinstall Win2000, still works
fine. Reinstalled NIC drivers under XP no help.

System info:
Windows XP SP1
P4 2.6GHz, 1 GB RAM.
Intel Board (D865 chipset) Intel onboard NIC (Intel Pro 100).
Error Info:

Try this:

In TCP/IP Protocol settings change NetBIOS setting from "Use default value from DHCP" to "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP".

Turn it on on all PC's including server. :) Hope this helps.

Hi MousePad

Did the suggestion of jlp solve your problem?
If not, is it already solved?
If yes, how?
