Moving DHCP server from one w2k server to another

I am trying to move a dhcp server from w2k server to another w2k server. I
am following micorosft instructions. I have backed up the DHCP folder and
the saved the necessary dhcp registry keys. I am now trying to restore the
folder and keys on the destination w2k server, but on the instructions it
tells me that first i have to rename the system.mdb file to system.src. I
cannot find any reference of this system.mdb file on the source or
destination server. Can anyone advise on this, on what this file is and the
best way to move the dhcp server.

The easiest way to move the database and configuration is to use the
dhcpexim.exe tool. You can download the tool from Microsoft at:

Can the DHCP server be moved to another w2k with a different name or does it
have to be the same name.

As I cannot restore the registry on the destination server.
