movie maker *.mswmm cannot be accepted in powerpoint

Used Microsoft Movie Maker to cut in a movie, then I wenat
to take that cut into a powerpoint presentation, but
powerpoint will not accept the *.mswmm format. Is their
any workaround? And will Iget the sound in as well?

Please help,

MSWMM files are just project files for something you did with Movie Maker -
you need the actual rendered WMVs to insert within PowerPoint.
