Movie Maker: chipmunk audio when making a movie

I've successfully captured video from my digital
camcorder. It plays fine up until I try to create a
movie (dragging and dropping it into the timeline). When
I play it from there, the video is in real time while the
audio is playing way too fast. What can I do?
