Hi,

I don't understand why the mouse is going crazy I put it somewhere then without help it jumps to the edge of the screen

Also the clock when ever I start the machine is always 12 hours ahead. I go in and reset the time zone and correct time, its fine for the session only

Help please?

I have a similar experience with my mouse - an optical Logitech (not
wireless). I think something's whacky with the mouse.

I originally bought a new PC a few months ago. The mouse was fine but
the PC had a bad disk drive so I sent it back for a replacement. Now
with the new PC everything is fine except the mouse.

Originally the mouse pointer would frequently suddenly jump to one of
the corners of the screen. I started using a different mouse pad and
it's been doing it a lot less frequently... in fact very rarely.

When it was still doing it frequently, I substituted my old-style mouse
and had no problem... and when I plugged in my new mouse again the
problem resumed again. In my case, it sure sounds like the mouse,
itself, is the problem.

I have known this on a machine with a rather old BIOS and APM power
management in use. Go to Control Panel - Power Options, and if there is
an APM page uncheck Enable APM on it, click Apply and see. If there is
no APM page there is some other cause

The 'clock' on the motherboard from which the Windows time is started is
in trouble. This may be a flat battery on the board - though usually
that results in time that is randomly way out. But it may be that your
hardware has this means of drawing attention - anyway, get it replaced
