missing ptp file- cannot transfer photos to computer from new Sony

I have Windows XP professional, and a brand new Sony DSC-H1. I have not yet
been able to transfer photos. Sony tech support says it is a Windows issue.
The error statement that I'm getting is that file ptpusd.dll on (Unknown) is
not found. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it...

Thanks

Thanks John- I haven't had any luck with those articles either...very
frustrating, but thanks for trying. Any other thoughts? I've tried
downloading the file from the web, but since it is a dll file, my computer
won't take it.

Have you installed Windows XP SP2?

Maybe a USB card reader would be a
good investment?

HI again John- I did download the service pack 2 but it didn't help. It
turns out there are other people having this same problem with Sony. They
resorted to a card reader. i borrowed one yesterday, and it worked like a
charm. I guess I'll have to invest a little more $$...

Thanks for your help. -deb
