Missing drive letters

I had the following disk configuration:
disk 0 C: D: E:
disk 1 F:
disk 2 G: H:
I went to reformat and selected C: for the install
location. After the install was completed, under my
computer the F: G: and H: drives are not showing up. I
went to disk management and I can see both disk 1 and 2,
but they show up as one partition each and with no drive
letters. I tried to rt click them and give them a drive
letter, but this option is not available, only format and
delete. I have important information on these drives,
how can I access this information to at least copy it to
a backup locatin?
