Minimising RD Client causes disconnect

I have a W2K server patched up to date and is running TS.

I have W2K pro clients also patched up to date and with
RDCLient 5.2.3790.0.

When the RD client window is maximised connection remains
open. When the users minimise the window for any length
of time the connection drops and they have to start a new
connection, they do not reconnect to their last session
and the session shows as still active in Term. Serv.
Manager.

Any ideas? TIA
Baz

When the client is minimized, the server will stop sending graphics
updates. When the client is maximized, some graphics will likely
update periodic, like the clock.

As a result of minimizing, your network connection between the server
and client is likely going idle. A firewall or the server itself, may
be configured to drop idle connections.

Read the section on timeout settings in this KB article to check on
things:
