Midi sound files won't play in PowerPoint

We're adding sound clips to PowerPoints and can't get the MIDI files from the
Microsoft Gallery to work - like Caissons Rolling. But, those sounds that are
WMA files are working fine. Any ideas on how to get MIDI sound files to work
in PowerPoint? Thanks!

Double click on the Speaker (Volume) icon in the Systray. A window labled "Play
Control" should open. In the Midi Synth column make sure that Mute is not
checked. Close the window and test the Slide Show again. Does it play now?

I am having the same problem and followed the directions below and still no
sound. Any other suggestions????

Please describe your specific problem, perhaps in a separate posting. Version
of PowerPoint, Windows? Are you using a Midi too? Have you moved your
presentation file or your Midi? Have you tested it in mplay32.exe?
