Microsoft Works 4.5 - Not working on Win2000

E

Emma

I have tried to install Microsoft Works v4.5 onto a new
computer with Windows 2000, I have 34.0GB of space left on
my "C" drive, when using the custom installation program
and omitting works calendar from the install, it displays
a message that says "insufficient disk space".

I have checked this Microsoft site for any help. Now I
look to you! : )

If you have any suggestions, apart from buying a new
version of works, I'd be very grateful for the help.

Hi Emma,

Since you have more than two GBs of space available on the hard disk you may receive
a similar error message: "There is not enough disk space for Setup to continue".
Perhaps the work-around in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article (install
each of the individual components separately) would solve the problem:

KB246573 - Works 4.5a: Unable to Install the Program
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=246573

And if not and/or if you have anymore questions related to Microsoft Works, I suggest
that you post in the appropriate newsgroup: microsoft.public.works.win

Your message header seems to indicate that you are posting from the Microsoft
Communities Web Page. So below you will find a link to that newsgroup via the
