Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

L

lester30

I am currently using Windows XP. Whenever I open the
Kodak software, an error message pops up and shuts the
program down. The message reads as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program:...mfiles\Kodak\Kodak Easyshare
software\bin\easyshare.exe
abnormal program termination
Easyshare.exe-Application error

Then the following pop up appears:

The instruction at "0x73dd1351" referenced memory
at "0x00000004"
The memory could not be read.
Click OK to terminate the program.

Can someone please provide input on how to correct this
error? Thank you so much.

Do you happen to have Adobe PhotoShop or
Elements installed?

If you do...right click on a .jpg file and choose
Properties. Click the Photoshop Image tab
and uncheck the "Generate Thumbnails" button,
then click OK.

I don't have Adobe Photoshop installed or any of it's
components. At least I don't see anything in the program
files about it. I do have Adobe acrobat installed.

Adobe Acrobat Reader would not be the problem.

Maybe EasyShare Support could help you...
